It’s quite scary when you think about jewelry being stolen out of the homes of top celebrities. Just think, if someone can steal celebrity jewelry pieces, they can get steal it from just about anyone. But rest assured because there are plenty of ways you can protect your jewelry these days. Try buying a small GPS tracking device to place in your jewelry box for your home and while on trips.
There has been a report that Orlando Bloom had $500,000 worth jewelry, artwork and cash taken from his home last week. It’s kind of ironic how the “Pirates of the Caribbean” had his booty pirated (sorry couldn’t help the pun). Everything was noticed stolen on Wednesday night by one of his British relatives. It makes you think because the police reports say that the suspect or suspects were familiar with the secluded home. Could it have been someone close to him? Maybe!
Earlier this year, two burglars were captured on camera getting into a Dodge Magnum after trying to break into Lindsay Lohan’s home. Then back in December, $2 million worth of jewelry was taken from the home of Paris Hilton. It is even believed that the burglaries that had taken place in the homes of Sherry Lansing’s, former Paramount Pictures Chief; basketball player Mobley and the Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, country music singers, were done by an organized group of criminals. Heck, maybe all of these were somewhat connected in a way. Hopefully they’ll catch these scumbags before they hit another legendary star. And maybe the stars should get better protection for their precious items…
