If you weren’t keeping an eye on the celebs last week, you weren’t able to peep that just about everyone was wearing oranges and reds. Social events, red carpet appearances and every other party pertaining to the popular stars brought about the stream of reds and oranges. Stars like Penelope Cruz, Cate Blachett, Georgina Chapman, Diane Kruger and Rachel Taylor were all seen flaunting their gorgeous red and orange dresses. You can definitely tell its summer time, it seems just about everyone wants to blend in with the sun and symbolize its radiant heat. Cate Blanchett was rather stunning last week in her orange Ossie Clark gown. Blanchett attended the Vogue 50th Anniversary Dinner where she was spotted wearing her trendy attire and ivory necklace. The dress had a vintage style fitting the actress suitably. She’s well-known for her great taste in hair and fashion, so it’s really no surprise when she shows up to special events as stunning as ever. She’s a true inspiration on the red carpet and everywhere else.

Also notable happens to be, none other than, Katherine Heigl, who was spotted on the red carpet the week before. She will be starring once again on the big screen in a movie called The Ugly Truth. She made her appearance at the L.A. Premiere of the film. Also starring in it is Gerard Butler. Stars from Grey’s Anatomy also attended the event, along with other famous stars. Heigl sported a toupe Lanvin dress that was layered by David Yurman. The pearl necklace (also seemingly popular) she was wearing also had a layered look; it contained browns, yellows and off-whites, which accentuated her ensemble.
