Celebrities That Get Nervous Before Red Carpet Events
You’d think that a lot of stars are used to the red carpet by now, but that couldn’t be any less true. From amateur stars to veteran stars, they both have their share of shakes. For one, 23 year old Robert Pattinson gets a bit freaked out when he is about to attend movie premieres and red carpet events. The Twilight star claimed that he doesn’t know what to do with himself before he attends such events.
“I just kind of freak out in the car on the way and then kind of remain in a bit of a daze.”
He also stated that he was afraid that he would go deaf due to the screaming fans (he’s already partially deaf he commented).
A veteran star also commented that she gets a bit nervous before appearing on the red carpet. None other than Sandra Bullock. She admitted that the entire idea of being a celebrity is uncomfortable. Yes, she is an Oscar-winning actress that starred in movies like Miss Congeniality, The Proposal and The Blind Side, but she still admits that she tries not to think about being a celebrity and just focuses on doing the job.
“Leaving my house and getting on to a red carpet is always crazy for me, because you have to find a way to be comfortable in the most uncomfortable situation imaginable – how do you talk yourself down so it’s all water off a duck’s back?”
She said that the celebrity world isn’t hers and that she just comes in to do her job and then goes home.
