Alicia Keys reminisced about her wedding day that took place almost a year ago, stating that it was number one on her list of happiest days (likely tied with the birth of their son Egypt Dean):

“When I walked down [the aisle] and saw him, I could barely hold myself together,” she says. “It was so beautiful – just about he and I and our love. The wedding was one of the best days of my life.”

Alicia Keys is also estatic about her ten year anniversary for her first album, Songs in A Minor. She’s also revealed that her gorgeous get-ups have been inspired by her new hubby Swizz Beatz:

“I can say, ‘I’m not sure about this look for the BET Awards. What do you think?’ And I know that he will honestly tell me exactly what’s up,” she says.

How many of us can truly say that men pick out the best garbs for their women? The two have really been hitting it off, seemingly since day one.

“There are so many similarities between us, it’s just mind-blowing. It’s really cool to have met my equal.”

But then there are other celebrities who go out their way to change their names to something outrageous, like football player Chad Ochocinco, born as Chad Johnson. Ochocinco means eight-five in Spanish (also his jersey number). He was supposed to change his last name again, this time to Hachi Go, which is eight-five in Japanese. Earlier this year he told ESPN that he is dropping the whole idea and going back to Chad Johnson.

Now, this brings us to the more outrageous, yet kind-hearted name changes like what Ron Artest, Lakers basketball player, recently did. He is now legally Metta World Peace. Metta means kindness and compassion in Buddhism. He wasn’t the only athlete to have World in his name – World B. Free. Then there is Bison Dele, who was formerly known as Brian Williams.

Not sure what some of these athletes were thinking during their name change, but a lot of folks would say they weren’t. And surely, this won’t be the last time we hear of an outlandish name change from a popular celebrity.

The couple announced their engagement on May 25, putting them at the cover of People Magazine.

Kardashian and Humphries have been dating for over six months now and they have had beautiful chemistry that makes this couple the hottest in town right now.

Kardashian said that she didn’t expect the proposal and she was shocked. When Humphries proposed, rose petals filled her bedroom which spelled out “Will You Marry Me?” Humphries then presented her a beautiful 20.5 carat Lorraine Scwartz diamond ring which stunned the reality star.

Kardashian said that, “Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there. Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”

Kardashian clearly enjoys the company of Humphries as she continues to say that, “I’m really happy and in a really good place. It’s different [with Humphries] because he lets me be me.” She also said how hard it is to balance everything, but Humphries makes her feel just happy to do it all, which puts her at peace.

Let’s hope that this new couple brings the flame of love into the hearts of many, as the stunning smiles of Kim really bring in that blissful aura for her viewers!

The response from her fans, or Little Monsters, was overwhelming to the point that many immediately commented on the interview after it has been aired. They unanimously shared the same sentiments that Lady Gaga touched their lives in one way or another.

At MTV News’, Chifi55 commented that “She’s so honest and true… You just can’t believe how amazing and loving and kind she is. She was nothing and became the world’s greatest pop star… There is no one who deserves it more than her!”

Furthermore, the after-show of the documentary featured Adrianna, an avid fan who wore Lady Gaga-like attire. She said that, “I was been bullied all through high school, and I kind of want to thank those people in an awkward way because I wouldn’t be the same person, just like Lady Gaga wouldn’t be the same person. We wouldn’t be as strong and confident with ourselves if it wasn’t for those people.”

Clearly the pop star has inspired many fans, especially with a heartwarming story of her struggles earlier in her career. Right now, the pop artist is hitting the charts with inspiring songs like “Born This Way”, with the album likewise titled released on May 23, 2011. Truly, Lady Gaga has become an icon of inspiration for everyone.

Perry’s dress dons a majestic shade of green with a classical drawing of a naked woman’s back. This creative art is reminiscent of classical art, and with this design direction the singer is going with, she really creates a defining fashion trend. Although the wacky design may be unprecedented for a prestigious awards show, Katy Perry pulls it off with her unique style to defend the design choice.

Along with Katy Perry, other international stars like Maroon 5 and Jessie joined the awards. Australian TV stars attended the awards and witnessed Katy Perry giving a blast with her performance of her hit song “Firework” which left the crowds in high energy that night, May 1. She wore a beautiful red dress as she hit the high notes with the impact that left the world in awe when she first performed “Firework.”

Perry said that “I love being in Australia – I really wanted to play something special tonight. There is always fire wherever I go. We’re gonna light this s**t up!” showing how she enjoyed being part of the 2011 Logie Awards. Katy Perry will continue her California Dreams tour in Adelaide, Sydney, and Brisbane.

The Logie Awards are the Australian television industry awards founded in 1959, which continues to be hosted annually, commending some of Australia’s top actors and actresses.

‘The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina’s personal stylist’s account,’ the Dirrty star’s spokesman said.

‘The photos were taken in the privacy of M. Aguilera’s home and were used only in a personal exchange between the star and her stylist.

‘We find the actions of the hackers and the press who purchased and/or obtained these photos to be irresponsible and actionable. We are attempting to determine the identity of the hackers and will pursue them aggressively.

‘Their conduct is reprehensible.’

Another top news story about Aguilera is that she and her husband are getting a divorce. The two have a two year old son named Max.

Kim Kardashian has had a couple of public relationships and breakups, from celebs like Ray J, Reggie Bush and most recently Miles Austin. Not too long ago, Kim stated that she wanted to be with a “regular” guy, meaning non-celebrity, and was hoping to find someone who was Armenian. She had a recent interview with Access Hollywood that is scheduled to air on Wednesday. While there she admitted that she’s been having problems with her love life. When asked if there was anything that was out of her reach right now, she replied “a normal relationship”.

In October, Kim Kardashian will be turning 30 years old, which would make any gal fret over her biological clock. Kim Kardashian even admitted that she might take on a new role as “The Bachelorette”. Now, that could be a very interesting show to watch, but I doubt that that is a good place to find love. It’s pretty hard for celebrities to find a real relationship with someone who isn’t famous or looking to get famous. Guess it’s one of the prices of being a celebrity.

“When MGM gave us this opportunity, we were anxious to put something together to show them that this was definitely something we could do. When they told us they were in and all the pieces started to fall together, it was still somewhat unbelievable, like, is this really happening? As we started to choreograph and practice day after day after day, the stress level quickly rose, and we were all just extremely nervous for the opening day. But it was really cool being a part of putting together such an extensive show from beginning to end.”

Their temporary home has been in Las Vegas for May, June and now August. They were given a test run between May 7th and 25th. On the opening night, they threw a pre-party at Tabu Ultra Lounge where family, friends and supporters relaxed and had drinks. Afterward, the Jabbawockeez hit the red carpet where they met celebrity fans.

“On the red carpet, it was great to see that so many celebrities were fans of ours. Sean Paul, DeMarcus Cousins, Lil Mama, Mary Murphy and many more came to show support. We also got a lot of support from our fellow ABDC champions and alums SuperCR3W, Beat Freaks and Quest Crew.”

Speaking of Gaga, a lot of heat has been thrown onto Aguilera because they’re trying to say she is trying to mimic her. Christina’s new album, called Bionic, has a few singles that have videos showing that Aguilera has yet again reinvented herself…but it does kinda have a Lady Gaga type flavor to it. Definitely nothing like the Christina we once knew. She went from being a pop princess to dirty to jazzy chic, and now she is trying to keep up with the trends by going a little more…odd and out there.

She has two singles out from her Bionic album called Woo Hoo, featuring Nicki Minaj (not getting a lot of play or good criticisms) and Not Myself Tonight, which topped at No. 23 on Billboard’s Hot 100. It then dropped to No. 55 within 5 weeks. Her album is set at No. 396 and her expensive deluxe version sits at No. 48 on the charts.

Then to top everything off, she has canceled her tour at the very last minute. Bionic is set to hit stores on June 8th.

“I just kind of freak out in the car on the way and then kind of remain in a bit of a daze.”
He also stated that he was afraid that he would go deaf due to the screaming fans (he’s already partially deaf he commented).

A veteran star also commented that she gets a bit nervous before appearing on the red carpet. None other than Sandra Bullock. She admitted that the entire idea of being a celebrity is uncomfortable. Yes, she is an Oscar-winning actress that starred in movies like Miss Congeniality, The Proposal and The Blind Side, but she still admits that she tries not to think about being a celebrity and just focuses on doing the job.

“Leaving my house and getting on to a red carpet is always crazy for me, because you have to find a way to be comfortable in the most uncomfortable situation imaginable – how do you talk yourself down so it’s all water off a duck’s back?”

She said that the celebrity world isn’t hers and that she just comes in to do her job and then goes home.
