This workshop was inspired by designer Deb Mitchell, who developed Twisted Silver Jewelry.

“The world has such a loud voice — TV, movies, music, magazines, what ‘the crowd’ is doing — that it can be hard for girls to hear that quiet voice inside that can lead them to success,” Mitchell said. “I want to show girls that it can be done. My message is you define you, or others will do it for you.”

During Jazmin’s talk with the girls, she told them to stick with the goals they have and to never follow the crowd. She pins her success on support from her family, including her mother who is also her business manager.

“When the going gets tough, I have had someone to fall back on, someone to lift and encourage me, and someone to always point me in the right direction,” Jazmin said.

“Jazmin’s message was so real, in fact the importance she puts on family and family support struck a chord with me — I called my mom right after the event and told her how important it has been having my family always there for me, and how I never want that to change!” said Twisted Silver intern Candice Newell.

The girls that attended the workshop got a chance to meet with the designers and take pictures. They also left with a swag bag filled with goodies.

Reports of the stolen necklace were made on RadarOnline.com. No further details have been released by the police. Sources that are close to the actress say that the necklace was loaned to Lohan by a stylist, who didn’t return it back to the store.

Not sure if Lohan really did keep the necklace, failing to return it back to the stylist, nor do we know if she was the one who returned it. Kind of strange that it pops up right when she is about to receive a warrant to be searched by the police. We shall see whether or not prosecutors will proceed with persecuting her and what the investigation may reveal. Hopefully she didn’t steal it and end up doing more time.

Some people think that the sentence wasn’t enough and that she will be right back to doing this once again. Doubt that she will be hired by any other celebrities or any other cleaning company for that matter. It will definitely be hard for her to get any type of employment that involves trust in someone’s home, property or money. Who knows, she may turn into a full-time thief to make ends meet!

“When MGM gave us this opportunity, we were anxious to put something together to show them that this was definitely something we could do. When they told us they were in and all the pieces started to fall together, it was still somewhat unbelievable, like, is this really happening? As we started to choreograph and practice day after day after day, the stress level quickly rose, and we were all just extremely nervous for the opening day. But it was really cool being a part of putting together such an extensive show from beginning to end.”

Their temporary home has been in Las Vegas for May, June and now August. They were given a test run between May 7th and 25th. On the opening night, they threw a pre-party at Tabu Ultra Lounge where family, friends and supporters relaxed and had drinks. Afterward, the Jabbawockeez hit the red carpet where they met celebrity fans.

After she finishes her jail sentence, she will have to go to drug and alcohol rehab as ordered by the judge in Beverly Hills. Right now, Lindsay Lohan is being held in cell #28, and guess who happens to be right next to her in cell #29. None other than celebrity jewelry burglar Neiers, who was busted for stealing jewelry, cloths, electronics and other items from Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Megan Fox and Orlando Bloom. What an ironic coincidence!Cell #29 was also Paris Hilton’s jail cell when she was arrested before. Another coincidence!

Though Lindsay Lohan won’t be having any contact with other inmates, the two gals could talk if they wanted to. Her showers, break time and activities will be done in isolation. Her contact with the outside world has been limited. She can only speak with her attorney through a glass and telephone.

She tweeted that the bags are looking amazing after meeting with her handbag partners, so we can’t wait to see how they turn out. Word has it that she will also be starting a shoe line. I can see her boutique shop growing into a fashion store with clothing, purses, shoes, jewelry and other popular accessories. At least one of Trump’s children has his business skills. She will be collaborating with Marc Fisher on the shoe line, which is set to hit mainstream the Fall of 2011. The shoe line, according to Women’s Wear Daily, will feature stilettos, flip-flops, sneakers and flats. They will have 75-100 different styles and will be priced between $80 and $140 The handbag line is set to come out next March.

“My personal style is mix of comfortable and flirty. I love cute little dresses but I also love comfy sweaters and jeans.”

“First, I met with the Candie’s designers and told them what my favorite styles are. Then, we sketched the items together. I loved it when I saw the samples for the first time.”

“I used a lot of studs and lace, because I wanted to make the clothes cool and edgy yet girly. I also love jeans, so I had to make sure there were some great pairs in the collection. And I love jewelry so there are a lot of fun pieces. There are great necklaces and big earrings.”

As far as her favorite pieces go, she said, “I love the black trench coat. You can wear it over your outfit or as a dress. There’s also an amazing studded skirt that’s perfect for going out.”

Well, we shall see if this will be a rise or fall situation for her.

The burglar bunch have stolen millions of dollars from these notable stars, most of which has been found. Rumor has it that Rachel Lee still has some of the items that were stolen. Nicholas Frank Prugo is said to have been charged with seven felony burglary charges. This is the supposed mastermind of the whole sting operation. He was known to create somewhat of a shopping list for the items to snag during their outings.

Other members of the group that have been indicted include Courtney Lee Ames, Diana Tamayo and Roy Lopez Jr. Not sure what possessed them all to do what they did, but maybe they should have stopped after the first time. Too bad they fell under the spell of the “rush” and thought they could continue to get away with stealing. Don’t they know that celebs have cameras in their homes? Also, everyone knows that if you get greedy, you’re bound to lose at some point.

Macy’s is looking to bring lots of teens into their store with the Celebrity’s endorsement. Other celebrity lines that Macy’s carries include Kouture by Kimora juniors line, brought to you by Kimora Lee Simmons. Then other stars like Britney Spears has her apparel set to be sold at Kohl’s called Candie (coming this month), Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift all have their lines featured at Walmart.

“A lot of times, celebrities’ brand equity can wane at the drop of a hat, so making a true long-term investment in a celebrity brand can be a bit risky,” said Kelly Tackett, senior analyst for apparel at the consulting firm Kantar Retail.
