Daniel Baldwin was reported to have a temporary restraining order out on him from a Malibu woman. She is claiming that he threatened her and her family after she fired his neice, Jennifer Keurhler, who was her nanny. Helen Smith, the threatened Malibu woman, also claimed to an L.A. County Superior Court judge that Daniel Baldwin left a hostile message with her husband. Then later, Baldwin sent two text messages to Smith on July 27th, saying not to threaten his neice. Mrs. Smith claims to not know what he was talking about. Daniel is known to have suffered from drug abuse, so naturally Helen Smith was concerned about the well-being of her family and children.

You may have spotted Baldwin on “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here”. Very notably, he has been seen going in and out of rehab for his drug issues. Considering this, he was also on VH1 Celebrity Rehab. So far, there has been no legal actions taken against Daniel Baldwin, but can expect to hear something within the coming weeks or months. You can also view the legal papers online here. Hopefully the Baldwins will finally learn and stay out of trouble. Between all of them, I’m not sure who gets in trouble the most. Every few months one of them is in rehab, court or on the news for something else they’ve done. Why do celebrities do it to themselves?
